I stayed down in the valley with some friends

I know it on the north Island, but I arrived here and then moved on to the south, so it's part of the first half of the trip in New Zealand

This was near by hostel and much bigger than the cathedral in the town center.

Mostly used by tourists these days

Of course I had to move on from there, but this was the original destination for my trip.

I was the only guest there

This was the place where I waited the longest for a ride, nearly three hours. The problem was there were no cars as the road ended right here.

It was a long way up

I still had all hike up all the way to the top

I guess I was pretty lucky with the weather

I was at this spot for nearly an hour, but I didn't complain.
